WOSB Certification Program

BAMBE's WOSB Certification Program gives one-on-one assistance and instruction on becoming a Certified Woman Owned Small Business concern.  In fact, the U.S. Census has reported that in 2013, there were approximately 375,808 businesses in Louisiana, with only 24,737 of those firms operating in East Baton Rouge Parish.  Only 30.4% of those firms in East Baton Rouge Parish are owned by a minority group and only 29.1% are owned by women.    This information is staggering as well as alarming.  BAMBE is committed to decreasing the marginal gap we presently face.  We would like to see businesses remain in our communities, which will ultimately lead to job creation and sustained employment for our local residents.
